Watching Grave of the Fireflies. The reviews definitely do it justice. It's exactly what it needs to be and nothing else, but man, oh man--*not* a feel-good movie.

You're not kidding. That was some harsh shit, but leave it the the Japanese to make a war movie that gut-wrenching--they have a perspective on the horrors of war that we really don't since we've never experienced the vicious, ugly realities of ground & air warfare on our own shores.
